Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with True North Prints ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Our products

Everything we sell is 3D printed to order. Each piece is made after you order it, so small differences in colour, finish and layer lines between pieces, and between a piece and its photos, are normal and are not defects.

2. Colours and customization

Most items can be made in a colour or colour combination other than those listed. Contact us before ordering, or add a note to your order. We will do our best to match your request, but filament colours vary between batches and we cannot guarantee an exact match to a photo, sample or colour code. Personalized items are printed exactly as you enter the text, so please check spelling and capitalization before ordering.

3. Content you ask us to print

If you ask us to print a name, text, logo or design, you confirm that you have the right to use it. We may decline any request, including requests that use trademarks or characters you do not own, or content we consider offensive.

4. Using our products safely

Our products are decorative and household items for ages 14 and up. Articulated figures and fidgets contain small parts and are not toys for young children. Our products are not food-safe unless a listing says so. Items printed in PLA can soften or warp in heat, such as in a hot car or a dishwasher. Use each product only as described on its product page.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless shown otherwise and do not include shipping or applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product, colour or material is unavailable or if there is an error in the price or description. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

7. Shipping, returns and refunds

Processing times, shipping, returns, cancellations and refunds are described on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

8. Designs and intellectual property

Some of our products are our own designs. Others are printed under licence from independent designers, who are credited on the product page. The content of this site, including text, photos and our logo, belongs to True North Prints or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
