A very small shop, made in Canada
True North Prints is a very small Canadian shop. Our printers run in our basement, and everything is done by just one or two of us. We load the colours, print your piece, check it by hand, pack it and answer your emails ourselves. There is no warehouse and no factory, just a few busy printers and a lot of filament.
When you buy from us, you are supporting a tiny home business, not a big company. Every order helps us keep a roof over our heads, and we are truly grateful for each one.
Made to order, one layer at a time
Nothing is made until you order it. When you place an order, we load the colours you chose, print your piece and send it on its way from Canada.
Your colours, your way
Because every piece is made to order, almost everything can be customized. Pick from the colours on each product page, or ask for a different colour or a multi-colour combination. Our printer switches between filaments automatically, so two-tone and multi-colour pieces are no trouble.
What we make
Things that are useful, delightful, or both: articulated dragons and desk pets, organizers that tidy a desk, vases and small pieces for the home, tabletop gaming accessories, and gifts personalized with a name.
How it is made
Our pieces are printed in PLA, a plant-based plastic with a smooth matte or silk finish, and in PETG where a product needs extra toughness or will get wet. You will see fine layer lines on every piece. They are the signature of 3D printing, not a flaw.
The designers behind the pieces
Some pieces are our own designs. Others are printed under licence from independent designers, who are credited on each product page.
